Join a growing Ventilation & HVAC Business

We're looking for an experienced External Sales Manager to drive business growth across South Wales, developing relationships with installers, contractors, developers, merchants and commercial customers.

This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially driven sales professional with experience in Air conditioning and HVAC, who enjoys building lasting customer relationships and identifying new business opportunities.

You'll inherit an established customer base while also identifying and winning new business across the region.

The Role

Reporting to the Sales Director, you'll be responsible for developing sales throughout South Wales by managing existing accounts and identifying new opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop new business opportunities across the South Wales region.
  • Manage and grow relationships with installers, contractors, merchants, developers and M&E businesses.
  • Promote Air Source Heat Pumps, HVAC and renewable heating solutions.
  • Deliver product presentations and technical sales support.
  • Identify opportunities for specification sales and project opportunities.
  • Prepare quotations and negotiate commercial agreements.
  • Work closely with internal sales and technical teams to ensure excellent customer service.
  • Maintain an active sales pipeline using CRM systems.
  • Monitor market activity and competitor trends.
  • Achieve and exceed agreed sales and margin targets.
  • Represent the business at customer meetings, trade events and exhibitions where required.

About You

  • Proven external sales experience within Ventilation, Air conditioning or HVAC
  • Strong business development and account management skills.
  • Experience working with contractors, installers, merchants or M&E companies.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building abilities.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage your own territory.
  • Commercially focused with a proven track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Full UK driving licence.
