We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical background and be proficient in electrical systems, logic controllers, and schematics. This role requires a proactive approach to maintenance, ensuring optimal performance of machinery and equipment while providing excellent customer service. The Maintenance Engineer will also be responsible for supervising maintenance staff and leading projects to enhance operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular inspections of machinery and equipment to identify potential issues.
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks to ensure reliability and efficiency of operations.
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems, implementing effective solutions.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
- Supervise maintenance staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Collaborate with other departments to understand their maintenance needs and provide solutions.
- Weld components as necessary to repair or fabricate parts for machinery.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in all maintenance activities.
- Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to maintenance requests.
Qualifications
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in maintaining industrial equipment.
- Proficiency in working with logic controllers and electrical systems.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics effectively.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with experience supervising teams.
- Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on meeting client needs.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Experience in welding is advantageous but not essential.
